When both kids are asleep, I’ve been making some decent progress on new encaustic pieces, mostly to be shown at Norwescon, and possibly also at my upcoming show at Balderdash Books and Art in May, though the Balderdash show will be concentrating on the photoillustrations, particularly the Space Whimsy series (including the third installment of “Floral System” and a companion piece to “Fishy Way”)
This is a quickie snapshot of the state of my worktable, including one finished, framed piece - “Seer” (Well, perhaps finished. The amazing reworkability of encaustic can be a double edged sword.)
Slightly above and to the right of Seer, that blue and green piece is the current incarnation (massively reworked) of the dragon piece in my last post.
