While I haven’t had much of a chance to add new work (but more is coming, including a straight fine art photography section), I have made the galleries at Jeliza.net both prettier and more functional. (I think). I hope you agree!

Or, at least, my services are — to celebrate the official unveiling of my promotion to associate photographer at Janet Klinger Photography (which I have actually been doing for a while), get a free upgrade to unlimited exposures AND a free 8×10 when you book me (though my day job) by May 31.

(For fantasy portraiture and editorial work; basically anything BUT conventional portraiture, you would still book me directly.)

Elisabeth’s Baptism

For this week’s Photo Friday (”Blessing”) a sentimental favorite, of my second daughter’s baptism.

I stepped a bit outside my normal zone this week and did the school portraits for my daughters’ pre-school.

I don’t care what shape your light modifier is, there is just no way that catch-lights in toddler snot are going to be attractive. And I have new respect for the people who do this regularly because getting a GOOD shot with a squirmy 4 year old in 3 frames is a real challenge.
